First graders were working on a website they created using Yola.com focusing on American Symbols. Students started building their website close to the beginning of the year and have updated it throughout the year, added more pages and information as the year has progressed.
Third grade is continuing to work on a crayfish newsletter suing Microsoft Publisher. The newsletter has two basic parts, a main news story telling what students learned and their basic experience with the crayfish, the other part is an opinion piece about weather or not students think crayfish would make a good pet. The newsletter is a way for students to express what they learned and their opinions about having crayfish in their classrooms for the past month. When finished the newsletters will be displayed in class.
